Super delayed review but just want to rave about Cater Station! I used them for our Christmas lunch at work last year and it was a hit. The food was so delicious and the perfect temperature. Everyone kept asking about where I ordered the food from. Being a really busy season, we didn’t have one of our boxes delivered due to error but after I rang they remedied it straight away and were very apologetic. We’re using cater station again next week for pancakes in the office. Really looking forward to it!

We used Cater Station for a work event. The food arrived right on time and was delivered hot and ready to eat. There was plenty of food to go around, and we even had left overs. We ordered a range of stations for our work function and we all agreed it was the best option we’ve ever had! Would definitely order again. The great thing was that there were hot dogs and buns for a classic popular option as well as wraps with tofu, Korean chicken, pulled pork and bbq pork so really suited low carb, and vegetarians too. The salads and accompaniments were fresh and on point with things like pickles and kimchi.

CaterStation saved the day with a last minute same day delivery for our office this week. as fellow hospitality folk, we really understand and appreciate the art of customer service, and caterstation absolutely smashed it out of the park. We were being admittedly difficult customers who couldnt make up our minds and we were delt with patience and flexibility like i've never experienced in this industry. Tried them for the 1st time at a friend's birthday party, and so I got them for our office lunch one day - and wew, was it a hit! Such a cool concept, allowing people to be creative and have fun with DIY food kits. From helping me plan the quantities and accommodate to dietary requirements, including someone with coeliac (thanks for taking every effort to ensure food safety) - Chris and team were exceptional! Came a wee bit earlier than anticipated, but food was still warm when we were ready to devour. Lamb, beef, tofu, and even the buns for sliders were delish! Have also tried their devious donut kits. 😈❤️

Loved our cater station! We ordered the mini dipper donut kit and it was such a hit with our party guest. There was plenty for all the guest and it made things so much easier because everything was provided, no clean up needed. No mess, no dishes. I’d definitely buy again.

We've ordered from Cater Station a few times, and they've always provided exceptional service. We've never had any issues, and the food is absolutely amazing! We used Caterstation for one of our training nights and ordered a Taco Kit for 25 people. We had the spicy beef which had a nice level of spice and soft taco's for the wraps. Also with it were cheese and vegetable toppings. Overall, the food tasted nice and was plentiful for the numbers. We were very happy with it and would recommend it to others.

I could not recommend the Cater Station enough. FIVE STARS PLUS!!! I heard about the Cater Station through an event I had attended that they had catered, and I absolutely loved the kai and the concept, so I took down their details to use for my next event. When it came time for me to use them, my booking experience was absolutely FANTASTIC! From the initial website enquiry (everything is very well laid out, boxes are easy to view and the descriptions are clear), to the easy to use booking system, to the pre and post order service. The team absolutely do it all and I cannot rave enough about them. They are so responsive, answered any queries I had in a timely and friendly manner. Nothing was too much for them. Delivery was on time and the kai was so fresh and delicious and presented so well. I ordered the same box (taco kit) twice in two weeks (for 2 different events) and I can confirm the service, the delivery, the presentation, the quality of the kai, all of it just hit both times!! I have happily recommended this to many of my colleagues and whānau, and will definitely be looking to order again, as frequently as I can! Feeding a crowd doesn’t have to be stressful - with a little planning and a few inside tricks, it can be seamless. Check out some tips we’ve picked up along the way!

We have our kitchen based in Grey Lynn on Richmond Road - This is however just a commercial kitchen with no retail. Pick up orders will get instructions on where to find us.
Albany to Takanini - Westgate to Botany. We deliver to most of Auckland, to see the different zones then please check this link for the zone map
We deliver direct which means the meats leave our kitchen piping hot and are heading directly to you. If you keep the lid shut then the meats will stay hot for 1hr, once opened we have found that they stay a good temp for at least 45min - 1hr. Please remember once the meats have cooled down they will need to be consumed or refrigerated within 3hrs
Cater Stations are a boat crews best friend. We are happy to deliver to the dock, you can take the kit on board and open when ready. If you are going to be a few hours at sea before opening up - take the trays of meat and place them in an oven at a very low temp (90degs or so). If your boat is ovenless, we have found a chilli bin keeps the trays of meats hot
On each kit we have a suggested amount, the feedback we receive from our customers is that these are a good indication. But, it all depends on who’s eating and at what type of event, time of day, if there is any other food, etc. So please consider that too. We are more than happy to chat over numbers and quantities

Cater Station works well when feeding a large group with different dietary requirements. On the menu page you will see which dietary fields the different meat options. There is a large range of gluten friendly meats, all meats are dairy free, our beef and lamb are Halal and cooked with care to not cross contaminate - If there are specific allergies best to make contact and we can advise independently. Our mission is to make catering as easy as possible and recognising the different eating habits of a large group is all part of it.Gluten Friendly tacos are always available.
